Right of Withdrawal


The right of withdrawal, also known as "renunciation," provides a reflection period of 7 working days from the receipt of the package during which the consumer can return the product without penalty and without justification. Full refund must then be made within 30 days. Art Kanic must refund the total amount paid, including the price of the item and shipping costs.


Some special cases in the application of the right of withdrawal:


The right of withdrawal applies to service contracts except for contracts for the supply of services if the performance has begun with the consumer's agreement before the end of the 7 working day period.


The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by companies. Consumer rights apply only to individuals.


If a product is damaged or broken during transport, the right of withdrawal can be exercised even if no reservation has been made at the time of delivery of the package. The consumer has 3 days to notify the carrier and the seller by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt that they have discovered that the product was damaged during transport.


Return costs are borne by the customer unless the seller has not delivered the correct product.


Given that the stickers are products made to order by Art Kanic, according to the consumer's specific specifications and are clearly individualized, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in accordance with Article L.121-20-2 of the Consumer Code, except in the particular case of a product defect upon receipt.

Delivery times:


La Poste priority or registered letter:


In France, the maximum shipping time is 7 working days excluding closing and leave periods, delivery takes 5 to 15 days. However, the law defines a maximum period of 31 days from the order being placed as the duration beyond which the customer can rightfully demand a refund of their order.

Lost packages:


Tracking a lost package can take up to 21 days at La Poste. If you have not been delivered after 31 days you can request a refund regardless of the reasons given in the case of tracked delivery. In the case of a standard shipment by postal mail, no recourse can be taken.

If you have chosen LaPoste priority letter for delivery, no recourse can be taken.


Damaged packages and packages whose contents have been stolen:


When you receive a package, you must check its appearance and preferably open it in front of the delivery person or the postman if you have any doubts. You are obliged to ensure that there are no anomalies (damage, missing product compared to the delivery slip, damaged package, broken products). Use the carrier's delivery slip to indicate detailed, dated, explicit handwritten "reserves" and sign them if you notice any anomalies. If you choose to refuse the goods upon delivery, you must, in addition to the "handwritten reserves," ask the carrier to return the package to the sender with a "spoliation report" (report 170) and keep a copy of this form. It may also be necessary to recall the facts within 2 or 3 working days following delivery, by registered letters with acknowledgment of receipt sent to the seller (and the carrier), especially if you have not made any reservation upon delivery or if the package has been left in your mailbox without acknowledgment.


In the case of an incomplete or incorrect address:


In the event that an order is returned to us for the reason "unidentifiable mailbox" or "does not live at the address indicated" due to a lack or error in entry by the customer, we cannot be held responsible. The package can be returned at your expense or refunded, but the costs of the initial transport will be lost.


Customer Service


In the event of a quality problem with the product received, do not return it without contacting us and obtaining a return number. It must be returned to us in suitable packaging similar to that received.


No customer service will be provided if the stickers peel off a few days after installation because many successful tests have been carried out, and only improper cleaning explains this problem.

For the parts, they must be returned to us properly packaged, otherwise the package may be refused.


Refund or exchange assumes that you have not damaged the product or returned it incomplete. Otherwise, Art Kanic reserves the right to apply a discount on the returned product. If the product arrives without packaging and damaged at the after-sales service, Art Kanic reserves the right to return the product as is.


Legal Information


The provision of personal information collected for distance selling is mandatory, as this information is essential for the processing and delivery of orders, the establishment of invoices, and warranty contracts. Failure to provide information will result in the non-validation of the order. In accordance with the "Data Protection" law, the processing of personal data relating to customers has been the subject of a declaration to the National Commission for Data Protection (CNIL). The customer has (article 34 of the law of January 6, 1978) a right of access, modification, rectification, and deletion of data concerning him, which he can exercise with Art-kanic.fr. In addition, Art-kanic.fr undertakes not to communicate, free of charge or for consideration, the contact details of its customers to a third party.


In the event of a dispute, only the commercial court of Evry will have jurisdiction.
